Love, Love, Love Vista Print

My cousin Hanna discovered Vista Print. When I saw all of the cute things she ordered I had to check it out. I went to the Vista Print site and created an account and then I started getting emails on a regular basis with their advertised FREE stuff. You just pay for the shipping which isn't bad if you select the super slow delivery. They say it takes 21 days but I recieved my package in about 7 days. Vista Print is a site for businesses so it may take some creativity to to figure out how to make some of the products work for you or your family but well worth it.

Em Tanner Shirts

Back in the day I loved watching Jon & Kate Plus 8. I fell in love with the cute shirts from Em Tanner that the kids wore on the show.
When baby Jack was born I just HAD to have the Big Bro and Lil Bro shirts for my boys.

Now that Jack is no longer a baby and we have another one on the way I have been keeping my eyes open for some cute shirts. My cousin Hanna called me today to tell me that Em Tanner is having a 'Junk in Our Trunk Clearance sale' and that the cute shirts were $30 marked down to $19.
Plus I found a coupon code TOTTRENDS  for and additional 20% off
Jack will be able to wear the shirt Jed wore two years ago, so I orded one for Jed and this one for their baby sister. I'm so excited!

Trial and Error

My dear friend, Mindy just had a birthday. I found this easy tutorial for camera strap covers (click here for link) and knew that it would be the perfect gift for her. Not only is Mindy a really great friend but she is a talented photographer and has captured many, many wonderful pictures of my boys. These are just a few of my favorites.

I was so excited when I found this super cute fabric by Michael Miller called Vintage Paisley.

Being that I love all things embroidered and personalized I embroidered her name on it too.

Mindy loved it and was really excited but when we put the cover on her strap we realized that it was about two inches too short. I was so bummed. We pretty much have the same exact camera. I had used my strap as a pattern. Who would have thought that the straps would be different? Obviously, not me! I did buy more fabric and plan to make a new and improved strap cover very soon.

There is a Bun in The Oven!

That's right I'm PREGNANT!!!!! Baby #3 is Due in early December.
This is my 'suprised, scared and excited all at the same time' face.
I have spent the last two months feeling nauseated for every second of everyday. It took all my energy just to get a shower in and make sure my kids were fed three meals a day. I also mustered up enough energy to go to the Del Taco drive thru almost every morning for my bean burrito and macho diet soda. It's no breakfast of champions but it is the only thing that settled my stomach. I craved the same exact thing with my two boys and they appear to be ok :)
I know that I have been such a blogging slacker. Now that I'm feeling better I hope to get back in to the routine.

The Mother Ship

Several weeks ago I was gone overnight at a friends bachelorette party. This is one of the many activities Daddy did with the boys to keep them busy. This was another great idea from Family Fun Magazine. Click here to see article about fun things to do with egg cartons. They used egg cartons to create 'space ships'. They are perfect size for all of the Lego guys and Star Wars figures that have taken over our house. Jed loves them. He plays with them all the time.

So cute...Jed named his 'The Mommy', maybe he
was influenced by Daddy who named his....
The 'Alicia Ellen'.
I love my boys (all three of them)!
